Update: Our SOC Lead Ian O’Connell won the Rising Star Award
CommSec, the Dublin-based managed cyber security provider, is delighted to announce their finalist status for the Tech Excellence Awards 2022. The awards are seen as the premier awards in terms of recognition of excellence in Irish business technology and its people. Taking place in the Royal Marine Hotel Dun Laoghaire on the 25th of May, CommSec will be going for gold in two categories: The Rising Star and Best Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) of the Year.
David McNamara, CEO at Commsec comments, “we are delighted to be shortlisted for the awards. It’s a testament to the high quality of service we delivered to our customers during the pandemic, when most people wanted to work remotely and we had to protect them from cyber-attacks”. Remarking on the finalist status of Ian O’Connell for the Rising Star award, David said, “as CommSec’s SOC Team Lead, Ian goes the extra mile for people and his commitment is second to none.
