CommSec Training: New DORA and NIS2 Cybersecurity CPD Seminars

DORA NIS2 Seminars

CommSec Cyber Security is set to provide a critical series of training seminars designed to help senior executives navigate the latest EU cybersecurity regulations, including NIS2 and DORA. Delivered by Jan Carroll, a leading certified cybersecurity trainer and founder of The Fortify Institute, this training will equip board members and senior executives with the knowledge to strengthen their organisations’ cyber resilience and meet their regulatory obligations.

Who should attend:

This seminar is tailored for senior leadership roles including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CIOs, CISOs, compliance managers, and regulatory officials across both public and private sectors.

Why attend:

With increasing regulatory pressure to protect critical infrastructure, senior leaders must understand their roles in cybersecurity governance. The DORA and NIS2 seminars will provide strategic and practical guidance, helping participants to ensure compliance and strengthen their organisation’s defences against cyber threats.

CommSec founder David McNamara comments, “In today’s landscape, basic cybersecurity awareness training is no longer enough for senior leaders and board members. These individuals are now directly accountable for their organisation’s cybersecurity posture. Our NIS2 and DORA training is designed to bridge that gap, providing the strategic insights and practical knowledge needed to meet these increased responsibilities.”

What to expect:

The seminars will be delivered by Jan Carroll, a certified cybersecurity trainer and founder of The Fortify Institute. Attendees will receive a certification of completion, 4 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits, and access to comprehensive learning materials through an online Learning Management System (LMS). The training focuses on the strategic implementation of DORA and NIS2, providing executives with the knowledge they need to meet their board-level responsibilities.

Where and when:

The seminars will take place in Dublin City Center on November 27th and December 11th. Due to strong interest, early enrollment is recommended.
